Description
Between the pressure vessel of the nuclear reactor and the biological shield of concrete there are arranged a layer of heat-insulating pressure-resistant concrete and vertical steel girders. The steel girders are double-T glands, always two of them joining together and forming a cylindrical air cooling duct. At the lower end these cooling ducts are connected with an annular channel. With respect to the insulating layer the girders are sealed with a tightening sheet and they are anchored in the biological shield. In this way the girders additionally serve to support the pressure vessel against the shield, bursting deformation thus cannot occur. (DG)

Zwischen dem Druckbehaelter des KR und dem biologischen Schild aus Beton sind eine Isolierschicht aus waermeisolierendem druckfesten Beton und vertikal ausgerichtete Stahltraeger angeordnet. Die Stahltraeger sind Doppel-T-Traeger, wobei jeweils zwei aneinandergrenzen und einen zylinderfoermigen Kuehlluftkanal bilden. Diese Kuehlluftkanaele stehen am unteren Ende mit einem Ringkanal in Verbindung. Gegenueber der Isolierschicht sind die Traeger mit einem Dichtblock abgedichtet, waehrend ihre Verankerung im biologischen Schild erfolgt. Somit dienen die Traeger zusaetzlich der Abstuetzung des Druckbehaelters gegenueber dem Schild; eine Berstverformung kann nicht auftreten. (DG)Files
