The nuclear fuel cycle
Description
The preparation of nuclear fuel, its manipulation during operation, the treatment of burnt-out fuel and wastes represent a task more complex than the fuel treatment and waste disposal at conventional power plants. Based on a French example a comprehensive description of the fuel cycle in pressure water reactors is presented. (author)
