On possibility of detection of double beta decay by liquid ionization chambers
Description
Experimental set-up to study double beta-decay of all the most interesting isotopes with the sensitivity of ∼ (3-9)x1023 years for 2β(OV)-decay and ∼ (3-9)x1021 years for 2β(2V)-decay is described and its performances are presented. Detector is a multisection Ar or CH4 liquid ionization chamber. The set-up is supposed to be located in the low-background underground laboratory. Background conditions are estimated
