Transverse energy distribution of channeling particles in a thin crystal
Description
Chain of approximated motion equations, describing the effect of protons and antiprotons channeling in the transverse energy space is considered. The initial nonlinear stochastic motion equation is linearized through expansion by the small parameter, the role whereof is played by the transverse fluctuations. Numerical study of the protons and antiprotons flux redistribution by transverse energies in (110) plane channel of a thin silicon crystal is carried out. It is shown that the distribution functions by transverse energies for protons and antiprotons coincide between each other at angles of incidence higher than two critical channeling angles
