Description
This publication presents the Lim'OvineRgie project, an archipelago of 156 ha of permanent meadows transformed into agri-solar islands. The objective is to combine forage production and production of renewable electric power for an equivalent of 80.000 inhabitants. The publication recalls the origin of the project and presents project holders. It presents this project as being to the service of agricultural transition in a territory: technical definition, support measures, an approach based on a deepened dialogue. It outlines its environmental quality and that it aims at an active preservation of the grove, the fact that it has been developed in collaboration with the territory, and its contribution to energy transition at the global and local levels
