The corrosion resistance of contemporary and alternative materials and designs for nuclear steam generator heat transfer tubing and tube supports was evaluated via model steam generator testing. The model steamed for over one year under representative thermal (5560K) and hydraulic (7.337 MPa) conditions with accelerated (high fresh water contaminant concentration) secondary water chemistry
