Continuity and innovation - 25 years of simulator training for nuclear power plants in Germany

For the German nuclear power plants and the Dutch Borssele nuclear power plant simulator training has a long history. It comprises a vast number of innovations that were made in order to continuously improve the efficiency of the simulators. With the simulator centre nuclear power plant operators dispose of a facility that has the equipment and expertise to guarantee the long-term qualification of their operating personnel. (orig.)
