Application and siting of nuclear sources in district heating systems
Description
An analysis of design principles behind the application of nuclear power in centralized district heat supply systems is presented. The selection of nuclear heat and power plants or conventional heating plants, specific turbine types and the value of thermal efficiency and the question of heat accumulation possibilities are discussed. The optimum method of constructing a district heating system based on a nuclear source is described
