Phase equilibria in Fe-Si-V-O system

Description
Thermodynamic analysis of phase equilibria with participation of liquid metal is made for the Fe-Si-V-O system. The effect of carbon on phase equilibria is revealed. The phase equilibria in the system considered are studied using the method of high temperature differential thermal analysis in combination with X-ray spectrum microanalysis and X-ray diffraction analysis. The surface of solubility of components in liquid metal as well as the phase diagram of the Fe-V-Si-O system are constructed. 21 refs., 4 figs
