Distribution probability of exit points of photons backscattered in cylindrical geometry with cavity

Description
A procedure for the calculation of the probability distribution function of the exit points of photons backscattered in radiometric assembly characterized by a cylindrical geometry with coaxial cavity has been developed. For this purpose, a computer algorithm, using the mathematical modelling method, based on the Monte Carlo procedure, has been elaborated. A theoretical model function which properly describes the theoretical experimental data is proposed. (Author)
