Description
Automatic translation: The safety concept of the HTR module is based on the Retention properties of the fuel assembly for all radiological significant fission products in all underlying plant states. In particular, the fact that especially the radiologically dominant iodine - at least up to 1,600 ° C - completely in the intact SiC-coated Fuel particles is retained. So that becomes the one Uranium is essential for an iodine release that is not in intact coated particles is included. This also association The source of a fission product release, which is technically referred to as ''free uranium'', can have various causes Knowledge is a prerequisite for a description of the radiological exposure that is actually to be expected.
Abstract (German)
Additional details
