Hydrodynamical properties of surface excitations in Fermi liquids with velocity-dependent interaction

  • 1. Institute of Nuclear Research, Kiev (Ukraine)

Description

The effect of interaction depending on the velocities of quasi-particles on macroscopic properties of surface excitations in a semiinfinite Fermi liquid is studied by using the Vlasov equation for a Fermi system with a free movable surface. It is found that interaction depending on the velocities of quasi-particles leads to the emergence of hydrodynamical pressure. 9 refs
