Description
Laser-induced fluorescence system was built for studying I2 molecules, the dye laser is operated with R6G and tuned to about 568.8 nm, 579 nm respectively. The resulting fluorescence intensity of I2 is taken at each wavelength. Excitation is provided by a pulsed dye laser at 573 nm, the resulting fluorescence is dispersed in a monochrometer and recorded. The spectrum is compared with previous study. (author)
