Tau neutrino physics: an introduction
Creators
Description
The properties of the tau neutrino are discussed and the recent result reporting direct detection for the first time is presented. The status of the experimental results relating to the mass of the ντ, both from missing energy in tau decays and from neutrino oscillation experiments are reviewed. Finally, I give a perspective on future directions in studies of the physics of tau neutrinos
