Application of exchange perturbatjon theories for calculating collisional lxne shifts of hyperfine structure of hydrogen atoms in helium medium

Description
Collisional line shift of hyperfine structure (HFS) of the basic state of hydrogen atom in helium medium was calculated for the first time on the base of exchange perturbation theories (EPT) of Hisrschpelder-Silbey and Amos-Musher. The relationship of this result with earlier calculations with respect to other EPT is discussed. More precise formula for calculating the relative local line shift of HFS is suggested. Satisfactory agreement with the experiment is obtained
