Effect of some natural and technogenic factors on technetium behaviour in environment

Description
Sorptive behaviour of technetium in soil-water system is studied. Distribution factors of technetium are proved to be in direct dependence on content of organic compounds in soil. Effect of pH value of solutions, reducing agents, humate ions on distribution of technetium in water systems with reference to natural and technogenic water reservoirs is studied. The best indicators of sorptive ability are observed in alkaline region of pH in the case of presence of reducing agents and humate ions. High saltiness of waters leads to suppression of sorptive processes
Abstract (Russian)
Изучено сорбционное поведение технеция в системах почва-вода. Значения коэффициентов распределения оказались в прямой зависимости от содержания органики в почве. Изучено влияние pH раствора, восстановителей, гумат-ионов на распределение технеция в водных системах применительно к природным и техногенным водоемам. Наилучшие показатели по сорбируемости наблюдаются в щелочной области pH, при наличии восстановителей или гумат-ионов.
