Description
The asymptotic behaviour is investigated of the total cross section difference Δσ(E) = σsub(t) - average σsub(t) as well as of the real part of the forward scattering amplitude Re F(E). It is estimated that the scattering amplitude has analyticity in energy, crossing symmetry, polynomial boundedness and the Froissart-Martin bound. (Z.J.)
