Description
A possible tool for extracting the neutron-skin thickness, the excitation of the spin-dipole resonance (SDR), is proposed. In order to demonstrate the neutron-skin thickness dependence of the SDR strength, the even-even Sn targets were chosen. Is has also been shown that intermediate energy (3He,t) reactions can be effectively used to excite the spin-isospin resonance in nuclei. (K.A.)
