The current issue (January 1994) embraces around 600 programme descriptions of software packages under the environmental subject area, including 200 descriptions of the firms offering in formation systems. The entries were given under specification from the software company. The manual offes an extensive overview of the environmental software on the market. Expert programmes are also included, they are concerned into the tasks and problems of the environmental sector; the programmes are widely available. (orig./HS)

Die vorliegende Ausgabe (Stand Januar 1994) umfasst ca. 600 Programmbeschreibungen von Softwarepaketen im Umweltbereich mit rund 200 Unternehmensangaben der Anbieterfirmen. Die Eintragungen werden nach den Angaben der Softwareanbieter vorgenommen. Das Handbuch bietet eine umfassende Marktuebersicht der am deutschsprachigen Markt angebotenen Umweltsoftware. Aufgenommen wurden Programme, die sich speziell mit Aufgaben und Problemen auf dem Umweltsektor befassen. Die Programme sind am Markt frei zu erwerben. (orig./HS)
