Description

Numerical calculations of elastic scattering (ES) of deuterons of near-barrier energies by the proviously suggested adiabatic model using optical potential are performed. The role of nuclear and electrical interaction components in the formation of experimentally observed scattering cross sections is investigated. The results of deutereon ES angular distributions calculation on 208 Pb nuclei at deuteron energies Esub(d)=8-15 MeV, on 60Ni at Esub(d)=4.86-8.86 MeV and 114Cd at Ed=7.96-120 MeV are presented. Deuteron ES angular distributions at fixed energies on a great number of targets with natural isotopes mixture are presented as well Au, Ta, Ho, Cd, Ag, Pd, Rh targets - Ed=11.8 MeV; Cu, Ni, Co, Cr, V, Ti targets - Ed=3.32 and 4.07 MeV. Comparison of the given relative cross sections shows that: 1) even at subbarrier energies the nuclear interaction (NI) of deuteron nucleons with target nucleus is substantial, its role increases with Esub(d) growth and becomes decisive when Esub(d) exceeds the Coulomb nucleus barrier; 2) deuteron decay effect and polarizability essentially weakens ES intensity to the angles wider than THETAsub(kr) at which cross section decay begins; 3) deuteron polarizability contribution into formation is small as compared with the deuteron decay effect; 4) for Esub(d) subbarrier values the THETAsub(cr) value is determined mainly by the deuteron decay intensity in the Coulomb field of nucleus target. The proposed theoretical ES interpretation is applicable to the deuteron ES description with the energy of the order or lower than the Coulomb barrier
