An interpretative scheme for thermal interaction between water and sediments in shallow areas

Description

In this paper a possible mechanism governing the thermal energy transport between a shallow and mixed layer of water (as, e.g. a pond or a lagoon) and the underlying sediment is described. After the description of the equations, the result of the theory is compared with the experimental data
