Description
The report serves as a reference to new and innovative hazardous waste treatment technologies currently being studied by the State of California. Chapter 2 is a series of case studies regarding source reduction implementations; each company's motivations and resultant savings are considered. Chapter 3 presents some sample costs for selected waste management options. Chapter 4 discusses the costs of site remediation and the factors influencing those costs. Chapter 5 is a series of case studies of site remediation. Chapter 6 discusses the relationship between the costs of hazardous waste management and the long-term liability associated with various disposal options
