The U.S. utility renewable resource association's perspective regarding wind generated electricity

Description
Quantitative research was conducted during 1991 to determine the perspective of U.S. utility managers who have an interest in developing power from renewables. Wind was seen as the most promising source of renewable energy as well as a major CLEAN energy source. Further, wind was believed to be more cost effective than either Solar or Nuclear. Unreliability (of wind rather than of wind turbines) was seen as the greatest disadvantage of wind generated electricity. (au)
