Three-gap spark discharger for wire spark chamber power supply
Description
A three-gap air spark-discharge device was investigated. The device was investigated. The device is efficient over a wide range of supply voltages; it has an actuation delay anti t = 30 to 60 nsec, depending on the supply voltage; the scatter of the delay is Δ = 7-15 nsec; the duration of the leading edge of the output pulse is approximately 10 nsec. The spark-discharge device is reliable in operation, has a long service life, and is simple to fabricate
