Linear stage and particle identifier of TP 2 spectrometer for satellite experiments
Description
The concept is presented of a spectrometer designed for the study of the isotopic and charge composition of solar cosmic rays. The linear system and particle identifier are described in detail. It is shown that these parts have properties common with laboratory equipment at considerably lower power consumption, weight and dimensions. The good resolution of the system is shown on results obtained with the particle beam from a cyclotron. (author)
