Effect of vacancies on rearrangement of Shevrel phase electronic structure
- 1. Moskovskij Inzhenerno-Fizicheskij Inst. (USSR)
Description
In the wide temperature range (15<T<300 K) experimental results on the effect of vacancies of tin and sulfur in a crystal structure of the Shevrel phase on TL anomaly temperature, elementary nucleus volume, the Debye-Waller factor value, 5s-electrons density on the tin nucleus are obtained. For explaining the experimental results the model of vibrational motion of tin atom in the SnMo6S8 lattice is suggested. It is shown that sulfur vacancies in the Shevrel phase are formed in the positions not lying on the triad axis of the SnMo6S8 crystal lattice
