Description
Kinki University launched the Great East Japan Earthquake Reconstruction Support Office in August 2012. Its two main themes are of the reconstruction assistance 'From Zero to Plus' and rehabilitation support from the disaster of 'To Zero from Minus'. However, more than three years after the disaster has passed, we have felt that decontamination has not progressed enough to expect. The Yamakiya district in Kawamata-machi, Fukushima is specified as the prepared evacuation zone. The concentration of radioactive cesium was measured by means of the hyperpure germanium semiconductor detector. The concentrations were ranged from 35 to 600,000 Bq/kg, and were different with points of sampling and kinds. The transfer coefficient of radioactive cesium to most wild mushrooms are lower than 0.5, although some mushroom species concentrate environmental radioactive cesium more than twice. In this project, we examined the long-term stability effect by the volume reduction of pollution biomass based on Biocoke technology. We suggested that Biocoke is stabilized for a long time from various data. Especially, we was carried to the dissolution test into water from Biocoke including of adhere radioactive Cs-147. Emission of radioactive material from Biocoke reduced until 25%. (author)
