Analysis of 18O-labelled nitrogen compounds in biological oxidations

Description

Some examples are given for the conversion of 18O-labelled substances into stable products, in order to avoid isotope exchange or dilution before oxygen analysis. A synthesis of 18O-labelled amine oxides and several methods for preparation of labelled hydrogen peroxide are discussed
