Extending the QCD leading logs up to reggeon field theory
Description
The deep inelastic structure function D(ω,q2) is calculated in the leading log approximation for (Nβ2/π2)α2sub(S)(q20)1n ω < 0,84 1n (1/αsub(S)(q2)). For larger ω up to (Nβ2/π2)α2sub(S)(q20)1n ω < 0.42 α2sub(S)(q20)/α2sub(S)(q2) the influence of reggeon cuts proves to slow down the growth of the structure function. A reggeon diagram technique is developed, and D is calculated up to a pre-exponent O(1), leading to D(ω,q2) proportional q2 for (Nβ2/π2)α2sub(S)(q20) 1n ω approx. equal to 0.42 α2sub(S)(q20)/α2sub(S)(q2). By summing the reggeon diagrams when ω is still greater, one can expect to obtain a strong coupling behaviour: D(ω,q2) proportional q2(1nω)sup(eta) (eta < 2). (orig.)
