Electromagnetic quadrupole form factor of the deuteron and the D-state probability

Description

The authors have calculated the electromagnetic quadrupole form factor of the deuteron for some local and separable potentials. A relation has been found between the peak value of the form factor and the D-state probability psub(D). This connection makes it possible to measure psub(D) within small errors. (Auth.)
