Nuclear power - a report on progress
Description
Address by the Chairman of the UK Central Electricity Generating Board on the 24th August 1977. It discussed mainly operational and safety experience, experience in the re-cycling of irradiated fuel, and various research aspects. The impressive record achieved is emphasised, and it is stated that the nation's future nuclear policy should emerge from an informed and soundly based public debate. (U.K.)
