  • 1. Department of Radiology, The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen Univ., Guangzhou (China)

Description

Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of carebolus and testbolus in contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography (CE-MRA). Methods: CE-MRA were performed in sixty-four patients, including 26 CE-MRA of head-neck, 18 CE-MRA of thorax-abdomen and 20 CE-MRA of limbs. Either t carebolus or testbolus was performed before contrast-enhancement magnetic resonance angiography. Results: High quality images were displayed except five cases with carebolus test and one case with testbolus test. Conclusion: Optimal imaging protocol of test method in contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography should be selected according to the target vessels and its characteristics. (authors)
