On results of third regular inspection of No.6 plant in Fukushima No.1 Nuclear Power Station

The third regular inspection of No.6 plant in Fukushima No.1 Nuclear Power Station, Tokyo Electric Power Co., Inc., was carried out from January 8 to May 26, 1983. The objects of inspection were the reactor, reactor cooling system, measurement and control system, fuel facilities, radiation control facilities, abandonment facilities, reactor containment equipment and emergency standby power generation facilities. The inspection of the appearance, disassembling, leak, function, performance and so on was carried out, but abnormality was not found at all. The works related to this regular inspection were executed within the range of allowable dose based on the laws. The scram discharge system for control rod driving hydraulic system was reconstructed. 65 accumulators for control rod driving hydraulic system of import were replaced with Japan made ones. Radiation monitors were installed in the dry well sump. Abnormality was not found in the internal radiation exposure of 15913 workers. (Kako, I.)
