Importance of skeletal scintigraphy in renal carcinoma patients

Description
The importance is assessed of the scintigraphy of the skeleton in the diagnosis of metastases in patients with renal carcinoma. Scintigraphy is the most sensitive method so far for identifying metastases into bones. In the investigated sample of 28 patients, 100% achievement was recorded. Scintigraphy is also important for monitoring the dynamics of the progression of the primary carcinoma. (M.D.)
