Method for contamination protection of radioactive ores and their residues
Description
The method aims at ensuring, at a minimum cost and material expenditure, environmental protection in the mining and dressing industries handling radioactive ores and their residues. A preventive protection against contaminants is achieved by contacting high-strength acid with the stored material which results in the build-up of a protective layer on the latter absorbing the contaminants
