Contribution to the study of the responsable mechanisms by the radiative formation of color centers in doped KBr crystals with alkaline earth impurities
Description
Experiments utilizing the tecniques Optical Absorption in the visible and ultraviolet spectral regions, thermally Stimulated Depolarization Currents (TSDC) in the 120K - 300K temperature range, and Thermoluminescence in the 290K - 620K temperature range - are perform to study radiative production, and thermal and optical destruction of color centers in Sr-droped KBr crystals. Some of the main results are also obtoned from experiments with Ca-deped KBr crystais

Combinando-se as tecnicas de Absorcao Otica na regiao espectral do visival e do ultravioleta, de Condutividade Termoionica na regiao de temperaturas entre 120K e 300K e de Termoluminescencia na regiao de temperaturas entre 290K e 620K, estudou-se os processos de formacao radiativa e de otica e termica de centros de cor em cristais de KBr dotados com diferentes concentracoes de Sr. Alguns dos principais resultados obtidos para cristais de KVR:Sr foram confirmados para cristais de KBr:Ca, tornando mais geral a aplicacao dos mecanismo propostos para a formacao radiativa de centros de cor em cristais de KBr dopados com impurezas de terrra alcalinaFiles
