Crystallogeometry of interphase and twin boundaries in YBa2Cu3O7-δ

Description
Crystallographic studies of P4/mmm and Pmmm interfaces and also boundaries between twin ensembles in Pmmm phase of YBa2Cu3O7-δ crystal are carried out. Conditions when total relaxation of internal stresses at elastically-coherent interphase boundary is absent are analytically determined. Ratios between crystal lattice parameters defining orientations of the twin ensemble interfaces and causes of interface variation in the 90-1023 K temperature range are analysed
