Nonempirical quantum-chemical investigation of free electron states of La2CuO4 surfaces
- 1. AN SSSR, Novosibirsk (USSR). Inst. Kataliza
Description
Method of self-consistent scattered waves was applied for investigation of free stages of La2CuO4 surface which is formed by cleavage between two La-O layers. Comparison with calculations for the volume shows no difference between free states for surface and volume in La2CuO4 film. It may be explained by invariability of spatial distribution of the whole electron charge regardless of substantial changes in single-electron state density near Fermi level in the modelled thin film
