Chiral symmetry breaking in QED beyond the ladder approximation
Description
Spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking in QED is studied by solving the Schwinger-Dyson equation beyond the ladder approximation. The authors make improvement on vertex function and also include vacuum polarization effect. As a result, they have found that chiral symmetry breaking occurs even in the presence of vacuum polarization
