Experimental study on long-range two-particle correlations in the central region in pp-interactions at 69 GeV/c

Description

The results on studying two-particle correlations in pp-interactions between rapidities of two particles at 69 GeV/c have been presented in terms of correlation functions. It is shown that expansion of the correlation function C+-y1, y2a) over the processes with different multiplicities of secondary charged particles allows one to select a long-range component, that turns out to be dominating in the central region. Similar expansion C--y1, y2) points to different structures of the correlation function for a system of two identical and inidentical particles. A more universal form of presenting the inclusive correlation functions has been proposed. It allows one to present the correlation effects in the systems of identical and inidentical particles in a compatible form
