One-body alpha decay widths and the resonance states

Description

By taking into account the orthogonality between the resonant (quasi-bound) states and the channel wave functions a new expression for one-body alpha decay widths is obtained. It is shown that the new formula gives similar results with the formula of Breit. (author)
