Differential-thermography a method for the early diagnosis of mammary carcinomas by on-line image processing
Description
Based on a new model for the description of the local and global hyper- and hypothermic regions on a tumor carrying female breast a mini computer system was developed to analyse the infra-red images on-line. Only seconds after acquisition of the thermogram a PDP 11/23 here produces a differential thermogram which reveals details of the temperature distribution characteristic for a malignant tumor
