Operational report, basics of the preliminary project for reconstruction of the RA reactor ventilation system

Description
This report presents the summary of results needed for designing the reconstruction of the RA reactor ventilation system. The final complete report will published later, including results of possible additional analyses according to the needs of main detailed project. Due to the size of the facility the need of filters for particulates is expected in systems V-1 and V-2, as well as revision of the system V-4. Adsorption filters are not needed in case of operation under regular working conditions. It would be favorable, but not indispensable to construct an adsorption filter that could be used occasionally at the input of V-2 system under the upper water shielding. This filter would be switched on when dehermetization of the reactor is planned and increased radioactivity is indicated in the gas system or experimental space of the RA reactor as well as in case of fuel elements failure. The aim of applying filters is shortening the time these elements would spend in the hermetized reactor i.e. their fast removal from the reactor. It is indispensable to build-in 'emergency' highly efficient adsorption filters in the V-2 system which would be switched on in case of accidents that would cause fuel elements meltdown (with simultaneous accident dehermetization of the heavy water system)

Prilozen je izvod rezultata neophodnih kod koncipiranja idejnog projekta rekonstrukcije ventilacionog sistema RA. Konacni i potpuni izvestaj bice objavljen naknadno, ukljucujuci rezultate eventualnih dopunskih analiza izvrsenih na osnovu potreba koje bi iskrsle kod izrade glavnog projekta. S obzirom na velicinu i karakter objekta ocenjuje se da je potrebna ugradnja cesticnih filtera u sistemima V-1 i V-2, kao i vrsenje revizije sistema V-4. Ugradnja adsorpcionih filtera za rad u normalnim radnim uslovima nije potrebna. Pozeljno je, ali ne i neophodno, ostvarivanje konstrukcionog resenja koje bi omogucavalo povremeno koriscenje adsorpcionog filtera na usisu grane sistema V-2 ispod gornje vodene zastite. Ovaj filter ukljucivao bi se u rad kada se planiraju dehermetizacije reaktora, a postoje indikacije o povecanoj aktivnosti u gasnom sistemu ili eksperimentalnom prostoru RA, kao i u slucaju ustanovljenih ostecenja gorivnih elemenata u cilju skracenja vremena zadrzavanja takvih elemenata u hermetizovanom reaktoru, tj. njihovog brzeg uklanjanja iz reaktora. Neophodna je ugradnja 'udesnog' adsorpcionog filtera velike efikasnosti u sistem V-2, koji bi se ukljucivao u rad prilikom udesa koji mogu da dovedu do topljenja gorivnih elemenata (uz istovremenu akcidentalnu dehermetizaciju teskovodnog sistema) (author)Files
