Retubing of CANDU reactors: an overview of the process development and future improvements
Description
The large scale replacement (Retubing) of fuel channels in Ontario Hydro reactors is the largest single rehabilitation program carried out on CANDU units. This paper provides a brief review of the retubing work that has been performed to date, focuses on the remote operation aspects, and addresses improvement areas that are being studied for future work.
