System of cadmium sulfate-acetone-water at 20 deg C

  • 1. Severo-Kavkazskij Gornometallurgicheskij Inst. (USSR)

Description

The system of cadmium sulphate-acetone-water has been studied at 20 deg C. The compositions of phases and regions of their existence have been established. Separating into layers and salting out in the systems have been observed. The data obtained characterize the ability of acetone to extract water when large amounts of acetone are added to an equeous solution of cadmium sulphate and to salt out partially cadmium sulphate when a small amount of acetone is added
