Change in properties of titanium tritide-deuteride under tritium β-decay effect
Description
The aging of titanium tritide-deuteride is investigated depending on tritium concentration and storage life. The phenomena of swelling, variations of crystal lattice parameters and spectral line width are analyzed. The stored energy in titanium tritide is measured and its possible nature is explained. The radiogenic helium behaviour in titanium tritide-deuteride is described
