Description

Effect of loading frequency upon durability of smooth samples of the 1Kh2M and Kh18N9 steels under conditions of room and elevated (350 and 470 deg C - the 1Kh2M steel, 350 and 600 deg C - the Kh18N9 steel) temperatures is studied. Fatigue curves, plotted during loading with frequencies of homogeneous symmetric extension - compression 3.3, 33, 500 Hz and 10 kHz on the basis of the test of 107... 109 cycle are presented. The obtained frequency dependences of the durability limits are analyzed with an account of the effect of temperature and medium tests
