Impregnated by the pyrocarbon graphite in the hot zone for the profiled sapphire growing

Description

The possibility of the total renovation of the electrical and physical parameters of the graphite concentrators with the use of the densification by the pyrocarbon is shown. It allows increasing of the working life of such concentrators in two times. It is shown that graphite bonded by the pyrocarbon (GBP) is the most promising material for the concentrators in the equipment for the sapphire growing. GBP usage make it possible decreasing of the current supplier surface ruining, free carbon concentration in the crystallizing chamber during the sapphire growing, melt impurity, nonstoichiometry, degree of dissociation, gas saturation and increasing of the crystal quality
