Nucleon-nucleon scattering in a nonrelativistic quark model
Description
The aim of the present thesis is to understand the nucleon-nucleon interaction starting from a nonrelativistic quark model. In the framework of a quark model first a classification of 3q and 6q states is given which serve as basis for the calculations on the nucleon-nucleon scattering performed by means of the refined resonating-group method. For the comparison the results for the s-, p-, and d-phases are confronted to the results of conventional calculations in the meson-exchange picture (Bonn potential) on the ρ + ω exchange. Additionally to the one-gluon exchange potential phenomenological potentials are regarded in the calculations which make a comparison with experimentally determined nucleon-nucleon scattering phases possible. Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, die Nukleon-Nukleon Wechselwirkung, ausgehend von einem nichtrelativistischen Quarkmodell, zu verstehen. Im Rahmen eines Quarkmodells wird dazu zunaechst eine Klassifikation von 3q und 6q Zustaenden angegeben, die als Grundlage fuer die, mit Hilfe der Refined Resonating Group Methode durchgefuehrten, Rechnungen zur Nukleon-Nukleon Streuung dienen. Zum Vergleich werden die Resultate fuer die S-, P- und D-Phasen den Ergebnissen konventioneller Rechnungen im Meson-Austausch-Bild (Bonn-Potential) zum ρ + ω-Austausch gegenuebergestellt. Abschliessend werden, zusaetzlich zum Ein-Gluon Austausch Potential, phaenomenologische Potentiale in den Rechnungen beruecksichtigt, die einen Vergleich mit experimentell bestimmten Nukleon-Nukleon Streuphasen ermoeglichen.
