Decomposition of the supersaturated solid solution in the beryllium bronze implanted with 130 MeV Xe ions
Description
The influence of the implantation of 130 MeV Xe ions up to dozes 5·1012 - 1014 cm-2 on a structure and phase state of tempered BrB2 alloy is investigated by means of microhardness, X-ray structure analysis and electron microscopy. It is established that there is an intensive decomposition of supersaturated solid solution and the formation of γ'' phase inclusions as a result of implantation that leads to the hardening of an alloy.
